When will the race take place?
The first race will start from 3:30pm, Saturday, 30 September 2017.

What type of race is this and what is the distance?
This is a vertical stair climbing race. Challenge participants will begin at the 1/F Lobby and climb 72 floors, climbing 1,914 steps and 350 metres. Fun Climb participants will climb 34 floors.

Who can participate in the run?
The race is open to the public and the categories comprise of amateurs and teams. The minimum age entry is 18 years old for the Challenge category. The minimum age entry is 12 years old for the Fun Climb category.

Is this a good race for first-timers?
Although challenging, this race is achievable for most people and can be completed by walking as there is no cut-off time. However, we strongly recommend training for this event for first-timers or even if you are an experienced runner but have never done this particular race before.

You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of registering for the event. If you did not receive this email, contact us at hanoi@sportingrepublic.com.

What are your refund and transfer policies?
There will be no refunds and no transfers (giving up your entry to another person).


I am based overseas. Do I need a visa to enter Vietnam?
Yes, some visitors need a visa to enter Vietnam. We recommend you contact your nearest Vietnam Embassy/Consulate for more details.

When and where can I pick up my Race Kit?
Race Kit Collection starts at 1:30pm on Race Day. All participants must pick up their Race Kit near the Start Area at least 60 minutes before their race start time.

What do I need to bring with me in order to pick up my Race Kit?
You need to bring your Confirmation E-mail and your photo ID.

Can someone else pick up my race kit?
No, you must pick up your Race Kit in person.


Where can I park?
Parking for cars and motorbikes is available at Landmark 72.

What time does my wave start on race day?
Organisers will announce the race day schedule soon after registrations close. The event is expected to start at 3:30pm in the afternoon and finish 6:00pm.

What can I do with my bag?
Baggage facilities will be provided for participants. If you do plan to use this service, please bring an inexpensive bag and leave your valuables at home. We will not be responsible for lost or missing items.

Where do I place my Race Bib?
Your race bib should be properly secured using safety pins and must be displayed on your front throughout the race.

Will the race start in waves or all at the same time?
Participants will be flagged off in waves of around 10-15 participants each, depending on the number of entries in each category.

Will there be water available?
Yes, there will be water available for participants at the 38/F and finish area.

Will you have a Lost & Found in case I lose something on race day?
Yes, the Lost & Found will be at the information desk for items that are missing on race day.

Can my family and friends watch me race?
Start Area: Yes, spectators will be allowed to watch the start in the non-restricted area of the 1/F Lobby.
Finish Area: Tickets will also be sold for the 72/F observation deck on race day for spectators, sold at their standard admission rates.


Where is the prize presentation held?
Prize Presentation will take place at the 1/F, near the start area at 6:30pm (schedule subject to change).

Who receives awards?
The top 3 finishers in each Challenge category. There are no prizes for the Fun Climb category.

Race photos will be available soon after race day on Sporting Republic’s Facebook page..

Where can I find my race results?
Provisional race results will be published on the event website within 48 hours from the end of the last race.
