David Shin
Founder & Director

Our founder David is the driving force behind Sporting Republic’s culture. Before establishing Sporting Republic, he was already deeply involved in organising some of Asia’s leading endurance events.

Block 2

Joey Chan
Event Director

Joey leads Sporting Republic’s Hong Kong and Mainland China operations. She has a love for the outdoors and when not working, she’s most likely to be found snowboarding around Asia’s steepest slopes.

Marcel Lennartz
Event Director

Marcel is the maestro behind our Vietnam events. With an incredible work rate and sharp mind, he drives our new events and always pushes us on how we can grow. His ability to run 100km in one go is matched only by his ability to sleep on average 4 hours a night!
